Terms of Use
Last updated: 31 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions under which you may access and use tomvee.com (the "Site"), published by Jones Finance (VAT: GB 900892922), registered in the United Kingdom. By accessing the Site, you accept these Terms in full.
1. Nature of the Site
Tomvee is a general financial-literacy resource. Its purpose is to explain money, budgeting, saving, markets, risk and long-term planning concepts in plain language. We are not a bank, brokerage, investment adviser, financial planner, insurer or government agency. We do not manage money, execute trades, or sell financial products.
2. Educational content only — not advice
Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Nothing is a recommendation, offer, invitation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, product or service. All content is general in nature and does not consider your personal objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on any financial matter, consider your own circumstances and consult an appropriately licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
3. No guarantees of outcome
All investing and financial activity carries risk, including the potential loss of some or all capital. We make no promises regarding returns, outcomes or results. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Illustrative tools on the Site (such as the budgeting calculator) are teaching aids, not projections or forecasts.
4. Accuracy and availability
We strive to keep content accurate and current, but the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Information may become outdated, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend or remove content at any time without prior notice.
5. Third-party links and partner relationships
The Site may reference or link to third-party content, products or services. When we discuss financial plans or recommend specific organisations during our educational consultations, we may receive compensation from those partners. This compensation does not add a cost to you and does not influence the honesty, accuracy or independence of our educational content. We do not control third-party materials, and a link does not constitute an endorsement.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, including its text, design, graphics, branding and code, is owned by or licensed to Jones Finance and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may read and share links to the content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or reuse the content commercially without our prior written consent.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to disrupt or interfere with the Site's operation, submitting false or automated form data, scraping content at scale, introducing malicious code, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for users who violate these Terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jones Finance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss, or for any decision you make in reliance on the general educational information provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or affects your mandatory consumer rights under UK or Canadian law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence, including Canada.
10. Amendments and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the current version. Continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions: [email protected].
